Project Executive

Location: Windsor, Colorado
Employment Type: Full-time

About Level5 Collaborative

Level5 Collaborative is a capital project integration firm that brings owners, partners, and communities together to create projects with lasting value. We provide strategic oversight, disciplined execution, and collaborative leadership to deliver developments that are financially sound, operationally efficient, and positively impactful. From concept to completion, we manage every detail so our clients can focus on their vision.

About the Role

The Project Executive is a senior, client-facing leader responsible for securing new capital projects, guiding them from concept through entitlements, and ensuring they are positioned for successful execution. This role combines business development, executive client advisory, and early project leadership with direct involvement in development activities such as zoning, entitlements, and city coordination.

The Project Executive leads projects through strategic capital planning, entitlement/zoning, and design/procurement phases before partnering with the team for execution through construction, occupancy, and long-term operational performance. This role requires both deal-making acumen and real estate development expertise, making it critical to Level5’s ability to secure, launch, and deliver high-value projects.

What You’ll Do

 Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Lead client engagement, networking, and relationship-building to secure capital integration projects.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and pursuit strategies that position Level5 as a trusted advisor.
  • Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and strategic partnerships.

Strategic Capital Planning & Development Leadership

  • Translate client vision and business objectives into actionable project strategies.
  • Guide clients through feasibility analysis, due diligence, entitlement/zoning,  and land-use approvals.
  • Lead  conversations with municipalities, planning departments, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals and remove barriers.
  • Support financial modeling, pro forma development, and ROI analysis to validate project viability.
  • Establish governance structures and funding strategies that align with client and  community goals.

Design, Procurement & Risk Management

  • Direct early-stage design and programming to align with budgets and client objectives.
  • Develop procurement strategies (CMAR, Design-Build, or Design-Bid-Build) that allocate risk effectively.
  • Anticipate challenges and implement proactive risk management strategies.

Construction & Transition Oversight

  • Partner with the VP of Operations to oversee contractor performance, cost control, and schedule adherence.
  • Serve as the executive-level point of escalation on project issues.
  • Ensure  smooth transition into occupancy, commissioning, and operational  readiness.

Long-Term Operational Performance

  • Support owners with post-occupancy benchmarking, performance optimization, and lifecycle asset planning.
  • Provide  strategic advice on long-term operations, user experience, and capital      reinvestment strategies.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in AEC, real estate development, or owner’s advisory.
  • Demonstrated success in securing projects, navigating entitlements/zoning, and leading      development approvals.
  • Strong knowledge of capital planning, financial modeling, and development  agreements.
  • Proven ability to build trusted, executive-level client relationships.
  • Expertise in design, procurement, and construction delivery methods.
  • Executive  presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to anticipate risks, align stakeholders, and drive projects through early uncertainty into execution.
