From concept to completion, we manage every detail so our clients can focus on their vision.

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing capital project integration team. This client-facing role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of development and construction projects while expanding your technical and leadership experience.

You will support multidisciplinary teams across all phases of planning, design, construction, stakeholder engagement, and project communications, helping ensure consistency in quality, safety, budget, schedule, and client experience. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys building relationships, and is eager to grow within a fast-paced, dynamic firm.

What You'll Do

  • Support Project Managers and Project Directors in coordinating the delivery of development and construction projects.
  • Track master project budgets and schedules through all phases of planning, design, and construction.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and executive summaries.
  • Prepare weekly progress updates, including photo documentation and project status reports.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and assist in developing client deliverables.
  • Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, contracts, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate document control processes, including organizing and maintaining project files within Procore and other project management platforms.
  • Maintain and update logs for RFIs, submittals, change orders, invoices, pay applications, contract documents, and project correspondence.
  • Participate in project site visits, inspections, owner meetings, consultant coordination meetings, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and public outreach efforts by coordinating meetings, workshops, open houses, community events, and public presentations.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, project fact sheets, newsletters, dashboards, executive reports, and other client- and public-facing communications.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, presentation materials, action items, and follow-up communications with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Help ensure project communications remain organized, timely, and consistent across clients, consultants, agencies, community partners, and project teams.
  • Provide analytical and logistical support for interviews, presentations, proposals, and executive reporting.
  • Communicate professionally and collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors, agency representatives, community stakeholders, and internal team members.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Serve as the primary organizer for project action items, ensuring commitments are tracked through completion and holding both yourself and the Project Manager accountable to established deadlines.
  • Lead the review and coordination of contractor pay applications and owner draw requests with guidance from the Project Manager.
  • Maintain current insurance documentation for contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, including warranties, as-built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, training documentation, and final project records.
  • Ensure all project closeout requirements have been completed before final acceptance.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Communications, Marketing, Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in construction, project management, owner's representation, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, project delivery, materials, and sequencing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills are preferred.
  • Experience supporting stakeholder engagement, client communications, public outreach, or community-facing projects is preferred.
  • Strong initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow within a high-performing organization.
